Hello and welcome back to MuayThaiArt.com/weblog. We have started this blog for almost 3 months now and the feedback is quite good. And we are happy about what we are doing for you all Thai Boxing and other martial arts fans. Today is the time for another great Martial Arts Web out there.

Kickboxing.com is what I call a gateway of many other martial arts links. Daily updates, such as, Martial Arts Technology, Package, VDO Clips, Events, Articles, Forum, and lots more make this site even fascinating.

What I find really interesting and a really good idea is its directories of boxing schools from around the world. It’s really useful to help you look for a good boxing school to attend. And if you also own a boxing school, you can also submit your school to this directory. However, it’s still very new. To make this directory really functional might take quite some time.

If you go to the site, you might also like its articles. They are really knowledgeable and not so boring to stick with it.

Kickboxing.com also gives you Virtual Training. But to enter this feature you need to become a member first for $9.99 per month. It’s is “Where you can learn any style of martial-arts online”. By log on to the Virtual Training, you get the access to unlimited radio, photo gallery and other contents of martial arts and a free online Magazine. You can get a free tour anytime!

At the bottom of the website, there are all kinds of Martial Arts, such as, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Kung Fu and lots more of course including Muay Thai (how could we forget to mention Muay Thai in our blog, right?). They provide a bit of background knowledge of each martial arts. Quite interesting to learn and know what’s great about other types of fighting arts out there!

Muay Thai’s 15 Cherng Mud: WANORN HAK DAN

Welcome back! Today is the third day of Muay Thai’s Cherng Mud. Today’s Cherng Mud is called “WANORN HAK DAN”. You will know in a few second why it’s called that way. Our Cherng Mud series will continue until the 15th. So if I were you, I’d stick right here and won’t miss a single one of them. Just so you know that it’s not easy to find this information elsewhere.

WANORN HAK DAN is also known as the Swinging Fists. The name already describes everything I think. So let us know a little more about it, and then we’ll take a look at how to attack and defense this move.

This move can be used to attack, defense and escape. If you want to use this move, you would swing your right hand to deliver a traverse punch, targeting the opponent’s jaw or the left part of the ribcage. And you need to step forward with your left foot and use it to support the greater weight of your body, while your right leg will give secondary support and is positioned at the back. With a twist of your body and shoulders, you could deliver lots of power to the right fist as you are throwing it to your opponent.

How to attack is simple: The fighter’s right fist is thwarted with a sweep of the left hand.

To defense: Anticipating the oncoming cross punch, the opponent throws a quick straight punch with his right hand to your chin. This is immediately followed by a kick to your right rib with the left knee. If you use your left hand to deliver the swinging fist or WANORN HAK DAN, then the punches and the kicks used for attacking and countering the attacks should be reversed.

Still can’t get the picture? This might help…

The Worst Clip of the Yearsss!!

I am sure that when I say the title of this clip, you all are gonna go “ah yahhh that clip”. I know many of you regularly visit YouTube, you must know that this video clip has been viewed almost 1,500,000 times already. Such a shame and really disrespectful to Asian martial arts whoever posted it there! And many from 3,000 comments do think so.

Let’s take a look at this clip one more time together!

Tae Kwan Do VS Muay Thai clip from YouTube.com

You all must know that Muay Thai is much stronger in every way. I’m not saying that TKD sucks here, but it’s just different style of Martial Arts and it can’t be compared with Muay Tai. IMO, Muay Thai uses better techniques and more brains in the fight and TKD requires fastness and spacing. You just can’t compare one martial arts to another, especially when another is like a set up, not a person who really knows the art.

This is by the way a great promote of TKD. It is obviously a fixed match or BS Propaganda. As you can see that the Muy Thai fighter here is a Korean with may be few fight experience. It was made more likely to bolster pride in Korean Martial Arts. What this video can do is making Korean people and TKD crazier happy.

I really hate to watch any unfair fights, especially when I’m a big fan of Muay Thai. I mean if you really wanna see how it’s gonna turn out, watch real men fight. Just match a great TKD fighter with a great MT fighter and let us see. It won’t be this easy and simple like you see in the clip here above. I can’t tell who’s gonna win. Still it is all about the fighters, not the styles or techniques.
