Got time for a day trip in Thailand? Welcome to our website, everyone! As you know that today’s topic is all about Thailand and its cool place to visit. In Thailand you can choose any type of traveling you are addicted to. Me, I love the natural and a little bit of cultural kinda tour.
Today is a bit more to another unique culture on a single island really CLOSE to Bangkok. On this island as you know by now called Koh Kret, there is a not alike culture of its community living there for hundreds of years. This said community is famous for its hand-made earthenware.
One fact of this island is it’s not natural. It was actually made up by digging a canal through Chao Praya River creating this wonderful island that has later become one of the most famous tourist spot in the central of Thailand.
What else you can do on Koh Kret? There are many interesting places to visit such as temples, earthenware factory, Thai dessert shops, restaurant, etc. And you can go to all these places on foot if you like because the island is not that big to tell you the truth. However, you can also rent a bike for like a buck or two for the whole day to ride to any places you wish to go on the island and save your energy for photo taking.

The highlight temples are Wat Poramaiyikawat and Wat Pailom. You don’t wanna miss those. You can then visit KwanArman, a Mon (people who live there) cultural center, where you can see all the nice displayed ancient stuff.

In the afternoon might be a bit too hot. You can stop for ice-cream or cold drink that comes in earthenware. That you can’t find in any places of Thailand. So don’t forget to try.
At the end of the day, you can cross the river back to land, or you can stay over in a hostel on the island and leave the next day.
So what do you think? Any more interesting this place is to you? See you next time with the next Thailand’s destination right here!
Finally we have come to the last Muay Thai’s Cherng Mud. First thing first, let’s take a look at all of the Cherng Mud we have already talked about. There were 14 of them which are “KA JIG KHAI” “PRAPAI LOM SINGKORN” “WANORN NAK DAN” “PRAKAN PERD LOK” “KHOK NASA” “INTRA KWANG JAK” “PRALAK NAM PON” “PAJON CHANG SAN” “HANUMAN TAWAI WAEN” “LUANG DAN HERA” “ONGKOT KUANG PRAKAN” “NAKA PON FAI KAN” “NAK DAN LOM KROD” and “RUESEE LUEM YAN”.
In a couple days, we will start our next lesson of Muay Thai’s Cherng Sok. And of course it is FREE! So don’t forget to visit our blog for that or you can also check out our other articles, such as how to speak Thai, Boxing Gym reviews, Hot Martial Arts Web and lots more.
The last Muay Thai’s Cherng Mud is called HANUMAN JONG TANON or also known as “throws the back punch from above“. This move is mainly used for defense. The action is done by bending the joint of your right elbow up to a point where it is level with the ear. In the meantime, the left fist is at an oblique position to the front. As you sway to the left to build up power, you should then throw the right blow to your opponent’s face. This punch is thrown at a downward angle, with most of the body’s weight being supported by the left foot.
As the right punch is thrown, the left hand remains close to the face to defend against any counter-attacks delivered directly to your face.
When defense, the opponent should jump back, support his body with the right leg and deliver a left kick to your chest or midsection as soon as there is an opening found. If you use your left arm to throw the punch, then the right leg should be used to kick the opponent with.
The next lesson will be back in 2 days! See you then!

That’s right, an indoor arena called Workers Indoor Arena will host the boxing event at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The place is located west of the Workers Stadium in Beijing, China.
It is one of the 11 Beijing-based venues to be renovated and upgraded for the Olympics. The capacity of this arena is of 13,000 seating.

We have come to the second to last of the Muay Thai’s 15 Cherng Mud already. Wow that was fast! But don’t go anyway. After all these Cherng Mud that you have learn, we will continue with the next lesson Cherng Sok or using Elbows as Muay Thai weapons, which is also really interesting and good to know.
We apologize that lately we are not able to show you the drawing due to some technical problems. However, we are willing to answer any questions about the lesson we have taught which you can put right below this article in the comment section.
Alright, let’s get back to the Cherng Mud. Our 14th is called RUESEE LUEM YAN or the Unreal Fists. What are the unreal fists, you might want to know. This technical move can be done by either using the right or the left hand, thus benefitting both the left-handed and the right-handed boxing fighters. For example, if you are left-handed, you may opt to deliver a punch with your left fist. But the trick of this move is, before you deliver a punch, you would first have to push out with your right arm to mislead the opponent, making him think that you are going to blow with your right fist.
As the right fist is held in the act of being thrown, the opponent gets the wrong perception that he will be hit from your right. Impulsively, he will then sway his body to the right side in order to avoid the potential attack. As he does this, however, you must stop the action of your right arm and then throw the unexpected left punch to his right jaw, which is now unguarded.
This “unreal fists” method can also be used to target other parts of the body apart from the head area, such as the neck, the ribs, or the abdomen.
You see, boxing is not only just kicking other people’s ass, but also using your brain a lot in order to defeat someone in a fair fight.
