Plot: Boxing was considered illegal and disreputable in 1880’s in San Francisco. The members of the prestigious Olympic Club promised to make this sport accepted by everyone or make it become a Gentleman’s sport. They support Irish-American Jim Corbett, a bank clerk to be a fighter under the fresh Marquis of Queensbury rules. In the final he finds himself fighting against his own idol, John L. Sullivan.
