Less than two weeks from now, the Olympics Games begins. And of course boxing fans like we are can’t wait for it. So I went to YouTube and looked for some Olympics Boxing clips, the ones that were once famous and most talked about.
1992 Olympics Oscar De La Hoya from the US VS T. Tontchev from Bulgaria of Lightweight Division Quarter Final bout. There are two parts of video, let’s take a look!
The next vid is from Olympics 2000 in Sydney, Australia. Here are Miguel Cotto (PUR) and Mohamad Abdulaev (UZE) in 63.5 kg prelimary action. Now let’s watch the clip together.
Then come another vid from last Olympics in Athens 4 years ago. This bout I’m showing you is between Mohamed Aly from Egypt and Armand Carlos from Cameroon in (91 kg+ match). The fight ended by Mohamed won 32 to 19.

The upcoming Olympics Games in Beijing starting next week will be viewed from all over the world. By now, I supposed every team is quite ready. Meet the 2008 U.S. Olympic Boxing team in this clip posted by USA Boxing.
If you have any interesting clips related with the next Olympics Games, please let us know.
See you next time right here in this blog.
As you know the great event next week on July 26 is a fight between two warriors, Cotto and Margarito. Who is going to beat whose ass up?
Margarito is a highly dimensional boxer who will fight until he drops. He will keep punching and go forward. On the other hand, Cotto sure can box and bang, alright. He can be too much for Margarito. Who knows?

This 12 round WBA Welterweight title will be held in MGM Grand, Las Vegas on Saturday, July 26. The match will be telecasted by HBO PPV at 9pm ET/6pm PT. You can check out the website for more information.
At YouTube I found this promo clip that I think is quite good. Just take is as a good warm up for this upcoming event.
Cotto vs Margarito Promo from YouTube
This is not a fight between Puerto Ricans and Mexicans. This is so much more than that. Who will retain the title? We will have to wait and see.

“There’s no other fight event as stacked as this one,” says Melbourne’s “The Voice” Michael Schiavello who along with K-1 superstar Ray Sefo will host and call the action on this coming Monday night from Tokyo.
Many great fighters are in it including all K-1 MAX champion from Albert Kraus to Masato, Buakaw and Andy Souwer. This event is going to be the best of the best of K-1 history!
Schiavello is looking forward to seeing the match between Albert Kraus of Holland, the former K-1 Max world champion and Mike Zambidis “Iron” from Greece. Don’t forget the greatest fight card of all time, Monday, July 7th!
I am sure that when I say the title of this clip, you all are gonna go “ah yahhh that clip”. I know many of you regularly visit YouTube, you must know that this video clip has been viewed almost 1,500,000 times already. Such a shame and really disrespectful to Asian martial arts whoever posted it there! And many from 3,000 comments do think so.
Let’s take a look at this clip one more time together!
Tae Kwan Do VS Muay Thai clip from YouTube.com
You all must know that Muay Thai is much stronger in every way. I’m not saying that TKD sucks here, but it’s just different style of Martial Arts and it can’t be compared with Muay Tai. IMO, Muay Thai uses better techniques and more brains in the fight and TKD requires fastness and spacing. You just can’t compare one martial arts to another, especially when another is like a set up, not a person who really knows the art.
This is by the way a great promote of TKD. It is obviously a fixed match or BS Propaganda. As you can see that the Muy Thai fighter here is a Korean with may be few fight experience. It was made more likely to bolster pride in Korean Martial Arts. What this video can do is making Korean people and TKD crazier happy.
I really hate to watch any unfair fights, especially when I’m a big fan of Muay Thai. I mean if you really wanna see how it’s gonna turn out, watch real men fight. Just match a great TKD fighter with a great MT fighter and let us see. It won’t be this easy and simple like you see in the clip here above. I can’t tell who’s gonna win. Still it is all about the fighters, not the styles or techniques.
All MuayThai fans, welcome to our MuayThaiArt.com/weblog. Muay Thai and Phuket lovers don’t miss WBC Strawweight Championship between Oledong Sithsamerchai and Junichi Ebisuoka tomorrow on June 18 at Phuket Boxing Arena, Phuket Province, Thailand. I don’t think it will be televised worldwide, but just stick with YouTube, you might get lucky.
Oledong is set to defend his WBC strawweight title against Junichi from Japan. The fight is to be held in Phuket and it will be the first defense of Oledong since he won the 105lbs belt, competing Den Junlaphan last year.
Oledong’s record is 26 winnings with 10 KOs and just knockout Serga John from Indonesia in March. And his opponent from Japan Junichi Ebisuoka hold a record of 17(7KO)-10-3. In his most recent fight in March, he won over Thongthailek Por Vorasing in Kobe, Japan.
Oledong’s manager claims that he believes that Oledong will be able to handle the competitor, Ebisuoka, who is ranked number 20 by the WBC but according to the rule, champions are only allowed to defend against boxers ranked 11-19.
I wanna wrap up real quick with something else you can watch tmr, though not thaiboxing. Another two fights you can watch tmr are between Emiliano Salvini vs Rodrigo Bracco in Rezzato (vacant Italian Bantamweight title) and the other between Roger Gonzalez vs Cornelius Lock (Featherweight)and Vicente Escobedo vs TBA (Junior lightweight) in Arco Arena, Sacramento hosted by ESPN.
Come back right here tomorrow. We are proudly to continue and teach you another move of thai boxing lessons of Cherng Mud Muay Thai. You Don’t want to miss that!
