Muay Thai Por Pramuk Gym is a home of two world famous boxers, Buakaw, K-1 World MAX champion and Pornsawan P. Pramuk, Alias Ironman 2000.

At this site you can find info of its training courses, like training schedule and cost. The training is various depending of applicants’ knowledge and skills. Here their instructors will spend time with each student. IMO, that is a really good thing because they can correct each student the skill and techniques. The promise they give you here is you can be a real official boxer by taking course with them for a couple months.

The training here is not that different from other gyms. But it seems really tough. Start warming up at 5.30 in the morning and finishing up by drills at 7.30 pm. pretty tight for newbie. However they claim that training hard and always pushing its students are their tests to see if their students really are into Muay Thai and to see if they are ready for the ring. Not that easy and simple to train here! I believe they use this method for the great success of its students. Shouldn’t be that bad for those of you who like pushing yourself for something you want.

The only inconvenient here is the gym is not located in Bangkok. But if you don’t mind being in the city with all that good facilities, this gym should be another good choice for you because the cost is quite reasonable.

Not much info you can find in the site actually, but you can find contact info like numbers or email for more information. So if you’re interested, go take a look at its website at www.muaythaiporpramuk.com. Later, I’ll be back to give you more choices of gyms in Thailand. See you next week!

I can’t wait to see this documentary. FAIRTEX right now is the most famous club in Thailand and USA I believe, after one of its great fighters, Yodsanklai “The Hero”, just won the Contender Asia. The point of making this doc is to promote Muay Thai, Thailand and FAIRTEX itself of course.

Not many Muay Thai documentaries were made, so this is quite a great idea actually. The more people know about Thai Boxing the more people want to learn Muay Thai.

FAIRTEX itself is the best gym right now with great facilities and accommodations. There formal fighters already prove how successful this gym is. Log on to www.fairtex.com for more info if you wanna go there.

Don’t forget to check out the doc on The History Channel! I expect to see nice pictures and video there. This should be another great Thailand and its culture presentation to the world.

Today I wanna introduce you to one of boxing school in Thailand. The name of the school was given after the founder’s name, Jaroenthong Kiertbanchong. The school is situated in Bangkok. If you are now in Bangkok and interested in learning how to box from a good boxing school, you can call 66 2 539 3867 or 66 81 828 9778, which is Mr. Kiertbanchong’s number.

Mr. Kiertbanchong is one of the Muay Thai Champions. A Muay Thai World Champion from beating Ramon Dekker. He spent a year teaching Thai Boxing in USA until he realized that Thailand still lack of good boxing school and young Thai generation is more into martial art from outside like Karate or Taekwondo. So he finally came back and started his own boxing school here in Thailand purposely to protect and conserve Thai culture and to encourage young people to exercise.
