Welcome to our website! I just saw a program on Discovery Channel talking about who has the best chance to win this Olympic Games in Beijing starting in a few days. So I realized I should write about it here.
The former champ of Olympics is of course the United States of America. However, China is being watched from around the world because this time might be a great opportunity for China to show the world that nothing China can’t do.
12 years ago, China was the forth in Olympics, 8 years ago it became the 3rd and at the last Olympics in Athens 4 years ago it was the second place…so what out the world…China might be the newest Olympics Champion for the first time in its own country.
What I saw on TV today is about how China and the US pick out their athletes. China, unlike any other countries today, decided who will become their best players since when they are in kindergarten, picking out from hundreds of thousands young children throughout China. On the other hand, the US will choose and support whoever perform best and send them to US Olympics College where they will be trained seriously for the great event.
Look at what China have done getting its country ready for this event. Lots and lots of money was spent to make China no second to any countries. China today is nothing like China a few years ago with all this grand and luxury.
The biggest Asian country of Chinese is appearing more and more in spotlight. And if this time, China wins the Games. I believe no one will have any doubt and question about the power of China. It will be proved to everyone that China can now do anything becoming one of the world best and powerful countries.
Within 20 days, we will all know the answer to this question.
Right now everything is all about Olympics! Just like the movie I’m presenting to you today. It is a story about a talented young Native American, Navajo, boxer who dreams to be an Olympics winner.
The film was written and directed by Rick Schroder and stars Eddie Spears, Russell Means, Julia Jones, Tim McGraw, Peter Greene, Wayne Knight, Tim Sampson and “Pooch” Marion Hall.
Black Cloud (Spears) is a skillful young boxer, second to no one. He was offered an opportunity to fight his way on to the Olympic Boxing Team. He defiantly declines, willing to fight only for his homeland, the Navajo Nation.

From what I see, Black Cloud did impress many viewers. One said “Incredible movie. Awesome hero. Great boxing scenes, gorgeous cinematography, funny jokes. Realistic & entertaining. (How often do you get that?) Good soundtrack” Wow he really likes this movie, doesn’t he? But I really agree. You don’t find all those in a lot of movies.
Everyone who made this film happen should be proud of themselves. The film is very inspiring for everyone.
It was released 4 years ago. So now you can look for it in a store near you or you can rent it. This drama is good to watch with anyone. Even good for kids.

Only 7 days left to Olympics. I believe most of the tickets are sold out. Too bad I can’t fly there to watch the real deal. You know it is incomparable to watching it on TV in your own house. You don’t get to feel the excitement of the people at the stadium, the cheering voice and everything.
All we can do is talking about it. Cheering for whoever you like to win the gold medal. So that leads to our topic today, talking with your friend about the game. Asking your friend what he or she think who is winning.
I’ll put it in a really short dialog as usual to let you follow along and memorize it easily with the dialog. You are welcome to ask me any further questions about the topic right here below. The key word here is “to win”. In Thai we say “Cha Na”
What are you watching? = Kam Lang Doo Arai Yu
Boxing. I am a big fan. = Muay. Chan/Pom Pen Fan Tua Yong Lei
Who are you cheering? = Kun Cheer Klai
I don’t know really. They are all great. = Kor Yang Mai Roo. Took Kon Keng Mod.
And this two? Who do you think is going to win? = Laew Song Kon Nee La. Kid Wa Fai Nai Ja Cha Na.
Right now I think the red one. = Ton Nee Chan/Pom Wa Fai Daeng Na.
Alright, now you can talk with your Thai friend about the next big games coming. It wasn’t hard actually, even though there is slang like “Fan Tua Yong” which means “a big fan”. This time I don’t want to go deep in to the words here because it might make you more confused. This way you won’t be suffering learning a new language.

Got time for a day trip in Thailand? Welcome to our website, everyone! As you know that today’s topic is all about Thailand and its cool place to visit. In Thailand you can choose any type of traveling you are addicted to. Me, I love the natural and a little bit of cultural kinda tour.
Today is a bit more to another unique culture on a single island really CLOSE to Bangkok. On this island as you know by now called Koh Kret, there is a not alike culture of its community living there for hundreds of years. This said community is famous for its hand-made earthenware.
One fact of this island is it’s not natural. It was actually made up by digging a canal through Chao Praya River creating this wonderful island that has later become one of the most famous tourist spot in the central of Thailand.
What else you can do on Koh Kret? There are many interesting places to visit such as temples, earthenware factory, Thai dessert shops, restaurant, etc. And you can go to all these places on foot if you like because the island is not that big to tell you the truth. However, you can also rent a bike for like a buck or two for the whole day to ride to any places you wish to go on the island and save your energy for photo taking.

The highlight temples are Wat Poramaiyikawat and Wat Pailom. You don’t wanna miss those. You can then visit KwanArman, a Mon (people who live there) cultural center, where you can see all the nice displayed ancient stuff.

In the afternoon might be a bit too hot. You can stop for ice-cream or cold drink that comes in earthenware. That you can’t find in any places of Thailand. So don’t forget to try.
At the end of the day, you can cross the river back to land, or you can stay over in a hostel on the island and leave the next day.
So what do you think? Any more interesting this place is to you? See you next time with the next Thailand’s destination right here!
There are a lot of films that involve boxing, in which there are pretty cool fighting scenes. I want to tell you every boxing film I know. Some of them I haven’t watched myself but I will just tell you what other people think about them.
One of the first great boxing movies is The Champ. The film is full of terrific scenes, such as comedy and heartbreaking sadness. The terrific story tells about an ex-champ, a washed-up, boozing and gambling prizefighter (played by Beery) and his sweet and wise son named (Cooper).
The movie also shows the beautiful friendship between the kid (Cooper) and his black friend which is such color-blind. It is so pure and touchy when in the movie the child said “He’s colored”. It might be because of King Vidor, the director of the Champ, who I find his movies are full of sympathy, human and compassion.
The Best Writing, Original Story Oscar! Because of this film, Wallace Beery got to share the Best Actor Oscar with Frederic March from Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The Champ and the director, King Vidor, were also nominated.
I recommend you to watch this movie is not only because it involves boxing, but also the goodness and the advantages of the film that is full of heart and such adoring.

The plot of this story is about an ex-champion that became alcoholic and a loser who lost the gambling and ended up in jail realizes that he has to do something good for once for his beloved son. He thinks that it might be better if his son belongs to the mother, who gave her own child up after divorce but now rich because of her new husband. The son goes tearfully but sneaks out to see his father and always cheers him up. The ex-champ finally gets another chance to fight with the Mexican Champion after his manager arranged him a boxing match.
