The trick for picking a pair of MMA gloves just like how to pick Muay Thai gloves. Make sure that you buy them from a trusty place and they’re the right size. Gloves are made for absorbing impact. Material is important for this. Cheap leather and thin foam layer underneath are not what you should look for. Good gloves will be durable and allow your hands and fingers to move quite freely but not loose.

For starter or for practicing, look for gloves with some relatively heavy weight for building muscles. For fighting, find the light ones which will be good for the speed in the fight.

I personally love the Ultimate style. I think they feel more firm when wearing or that just me I don’t know. But I would go for the white ones tho’ since I think they will go well with the rest of the outfit. Top King’s gloves quality is pretty good since the price is not that high comparing to other brands. But too bad Top King doesn’t have the ones with thick padding like Twins’ that would cost more. For starters I don’t think the padding is that important that you need to be worried about it right now. Anyway, I hope you like our new MMA gloves, check them out if you have time.
