Body and Soul is a story about a boxing fighter who one day is involved with twisted promoters. The movie was written by Abraham Polomsky. It is well thought-out the first great boxing picture and also warning story about how tempting the money is and how it can spoil even a tough man in his chasing for achievement.

Plot:
Charley Davis becomes a boxing fighter without listening to his mother. Once he becomes quite successful with this career, he is surrounded by shady characters, including a dishonorable promoter whose name is Roberts. Those people lure him with a number of vices. Finally he finds himself having to deal with many difficulties.
