There are 15 of them and now it’s time for number 6 called “INTRA KWANG JAK”

INTRA KWNG JAK is the Thai name for the Throw the Lengthy Punch. Let’s see what this move really is and what it can do, and then we’ll take a look at how to do it.

The move is used for attack, defense and also escape. It is particularly helpful when there is a considerable distance between the two fighters. Moreover, this blow targets the opponent’s neck and is as a consequence best used when the neck area is left open and vulnerable. If you want to do this move, you need to hold up your right fist in front of you, and right after straightening your right arm makes a step forward with your right foot. Then the long-range downward hit is then delivered strike into the opponent’s neck or nose from the right.

With a quick movement, you can prevent the long punch by moving your straight left arm above your head and then swing your arm to sweep your opponent’s right arm away.

To Defense: Vigorously fling a left swing kick, targeting the boxer’s right spine. If the INTRA KWANG JAK is thrown with a straightened left arm, make a swing kick with your right leg, this time aiming for the left rib.
