KHOK NASA is also identified as the Bent Fist. This move is used for attacking. This strike is delivered by bending the elbow and delivering the blow sideward and downward, aiming to the opponent’s nose or to his left jaw (if you’re right-handed). Even the inner wrist is bent to apply greater strength to the punch. If you want to do this move, you have to step your left foot forward, then your body will be twisted to the left and the punch will be thrown down in a swift move.
Let’s take a look at our drawing of this move first.

Now, while attacking the boxer must avoid looking down to his feet or the ground if he is likely to throw uppercuts. To defend against this move, the left hand should be held up to shield against the blow coming from the left side. The left arm will also be used to sweep over in a smooth motion to ward off the boxer’s right arm, and the body is slightly swayed to maintain the balance.
To defense: Use your left knee to strike the right rib of the boxer. If the boxer is a left-handed, just reverse the described moves above using the opposite site of the body.
That is it for KHOK NASA or the Bent Fist. Stay with us for the next Muay Thai punching move right here.
