Hi guys! If you visited us a few days ago, you must know that we just started new Muay Thai lesson on Cherng Mud. There are 15 moves or Cherng Mud in total and last time I already started the first one called KA JIG KHAI. Today is the second one and I’ll move on like this every other few days. So don’t miss!
As you already know that today’s Cherng Mud is named “PRAPAI LOM SINGKORN“, I’ll do that same as last time. First starting by tell you what it is and then how to attack and to defense.
PRAPAI LOM SINGKORN is basically another straight fist that is followed by another trick. This move is principally used for attacking, defending, or escaping. A straight right is thrown by the fighter, required a twist of the body to add more power to the punch. What you need to watch out is the certain distance between you and your opponent. A step forward should likewise be taken with the right foot. When this is done, the power is transferred from the leg to the moving body, and finally to the striking fist. PRAPAI LOM SINGKORN’s fist is supposed to target either the opponent’s heart or chin.

Now it’s time for the attacking. The fighter PRAPAI LOM SINGKORN straight fist is brushed away with a fist or an arm. If the boxer throws his fist with his right arm, the opponent will prevent with his left arm or left fist to wipe the blow out towards the left.
And what if you need to defense? A right kick can be thrown to the boxer’s abdomen to stop the punch. If the boxer is left-handed, the counter kick is done on the opposite side.
Ok, that was it! Come back again for more Cherng Mud’s lessons right here at our MuayThaiArt.com/weblog.
