That’s right! This is another boxing film that you should not miss. Resurrecting the Champ was made based on a true story that was based on a lie. The film was nominated for Best Performance in Feature Film- Young Actor Age Ten or Younger, a little boy Dakota Goyo.

I’m quite sure that you will like it since most of the people who did also like it a lot. I read a few viewer comments and one said the film is an extraordinary motion picture. The writing was good. The characterization and the dramatic construction are the best. And the main actors, Josh Hartnett and Sam Jackson did a really great performance in the movie. However the story doesn’t quite set out what it tries to carry out its great true story. But I’m pretty sure that it doesn’t affect your judgment of liking the movie that much.

Story: A prevailing sports reporter saves a homeless guy (”Champ”) and discovers that he is actually a great boxing legend who was believed to have long dead. What begins as a chance to raise from the dead Champ’s story and run away from the shadow of his father’s accomplishment becomes his own journey as the ambitious and motivated reporter reexamines his own life and his family relationship.

Directed and produced by Rod Lurie

Casts: Samuel L. Jackson, Josh Hartnett and Kathryn Morris

I really suggest you to check this movie out now because you will love it. First, go see the true story that made this film happen at www.resurrectingthechamp.com. Hope you like it!
