It’s time for Speak of Thai. We are here to teach you how to speak Thai in the easiest way. The lesson we put here are so simple and easy to follow. We’re talking about tiredness today. Maybe after you work out or train for a long time and you’re really tired, how can you express that? How do you say it correctly in Thai?
Let’s set out a situation here. Let’s say you’re been training all day and your gang comes to ask you out with them. And you don’t want to go because you are too tired, so you tell them so. Here’s how you can say it.
The key word here is “tired”. In Thai we call it “Nueay”. Ok….it might sound weird and hard to pronounce. Just go “Nue-Ay” faster and faster until you can say it in one word. Practice make perfect…that’s so true here in this situation.
Ok let’s not waste time! Memorize and practice it as many times as you can.
John: Hey let’s go find something to eat! = “Pai-Ha-Arai-Kin-Kan”
Rick: No. I’m really tired today. = “Mai-la Wan-Nee-Nueay-Mak”
Let me break it down for you.
Pai = to go
Ha = to find
Arai = what, something
Kin = to eat
Kan = let’s…
Mai = No
Wan Nee = today
NUEAY = to be tired
Mak = lots, really, truly
That wasn’t too hard, was it? You can try my way saying it out loud for a few times to help memorizing. Or if you have your own method, please share with us and the other. Learning a new language is all about practicing, you gotta trust me that. I’ve learned 6 languages so far.
