Hey have you enjoyed our boxing learning clips so far? I didn’t have time to put more in YouTube. I got all the video clips files on my computer but can’t find time to add them on YouTube. Anyway I think I’ve got pretty good feedback for our Muay Thai learning clips, so I will keep doing it until finish as many Muay Thai moves as possible.
Today’s boxing clip is called in Thai “Sork Kradode” or “Kradode Sork”. It’s great for targets like head, face or collar-bone just like the elbow chop in our last Muay Thai learning video but a little harder to perform. Basically, in this move, you have to use any type of elbow strike like horizontal elbow (I would personally recommend the elbow chop for this technique) while jumping in mid-air. The most successful hit is to jump as high as possible and strike the target just when you’re starting coming down or landing on the ground because with the body weight the strike is much more powerful. When landing, remain the position of your feet of the boxing stance. You can land both feet together or one at a time.
Here’s the step by step. Take off into the air as high as possible. Bend your knees a bit for extra power before springing yourself up. Twist the body to the left just like when you’re doing the elbow chop. And at the point of landing, strike the point of your elbow down on your opponent’s head forcefully and rapidly.
Alright, that’s it for today muay thai clip. Hope you like it. Give it a try with your trainer. Come back if you like the result! See you soon.
