Lots of Muay Thai fighters or trainers studied the subject matter, believing that incantations would give them miraculous strengths to conquer their opponents without difficulty and give them stamina and invincibility, shielding them from all people and things.

Many who have studied this art believed that an incantation uttered before or during a fight had the supremacy to keep them from being knocked out, as a mouthful of air would instantaneously bring back their consciousness.

Incantations or in Thai called “Kartar Arkom” were not only part of a rich oral tradition but also were in due course printed for reference. Many incantations books can still be found if you really looking for or they can be passed hand to hand from generation to generation.
